Xlink Kai on WRT54G

So I think that my Kai setup on the WRT54G router I discussed the other day is workins as stable as it can now. I went out and picked up a XBOX Live! Communicator, I can't believe that there are no 3rd party versions of this thing being sold. I am talking about the device that actually plugs into your controller. The headset can be replaced with any cell-phone type headset. I saw one 3rd party device that had the headset permanently wired to the communicator, but I didn't like the idea that I couldn't change the headset out. All in all, the stock Xbox headset works pretty well.

I played Ghost Recon 2 with a couple of guys last night and it seemed to work very well, no lag whatsoever. I was unable to find anyone hosting a race in Project Gotham Racing 2, but I will look into that more tonight. Halo 2 has a bunch of players on Kai, and I have not attempted to get into any of those games yet either. I would like to play Call of Duty, but there are only like 20 people at a time playing, and most are already involved in a game.

I have not been able to figure out the voice option using SPEEX in XBMC. I am trying to figure out how you initiate a conversation with another person in the arenas. I think that I need to find a usb keyboard that I can use on the Xbox to make chatting a little easier. I really don't know if that will help all that much right now though as there really isn't that much chatter in any of the arenas. I will post developments as they are made.
