Presonus Firebox On Its Way

I ordered the Firebox yesterday, and anticipate it being here in the next couple of days. I also ordered a Marshall MXL V67g condenser mic. This will be the first time recording with what I consider real equipment. To review what has happened so far, there have been a few recording sessions at the house in the past couple of months. I finally broke down and purchased a cheap dynamic mic from Radio Shack, and brought Gonz and Nate over to get some stuff in the computer. At this point we were using a 1/4 balanced line in that came with my Creative Labs Audigy Platinum. We had to record everything in tracks, and while some of it came out sounding pretty well, they decided upon the live sound better than a studio sound.

So I believe that High Life Blues will begin recording within the next couple of days, and I will see what I can produce out of a couple sessions. The guys are putting together some great material, and it is time I stepped up and helped them get it finished.
