Son Volt in Louisville

This was a great show in a small venue that just 'felt right'. We drove up early and had some dinner at Smokey Bones, then stopped to get some High Life on the way to Headliners Music Hall. The doors weren't open when we got there so a little pre-tuning ensued. After getting into the venue and finding a good vantage point, the opening act came on. They were not on the bill and I never caught their name, but anyone who can play some good classic country is ok in my book.

Son Volt played their standard catalogue without any covers or new material. The show was excellent. I would highly recommend the venue if there is someone you deem worthy to see live. I will definitely be watching for their coming attractions.
